About me
Dominic Caguioa coordinates instructional leadership support between the Los Angeles Unified School District's (LAUSD) Information Technology Services and Division of Instruction, leading the incubation and design of innovative instructional initiatives that leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, in effective teaching and learning practices. He has led the design and delivery of professional learning and curricular support around expansion of computer science, advancement of digital citizenship and implementation of the ISTE Standards. Dominic also serves as a computer science facilitator for the global non-profit Code.org, preparing US and international facilitators to teach and adapt the Code.org computer science fundamentals curriculum to their local contexts. He holds a National Board Certification in special education and was previously awarded the ISTE Technology Coordinators Network Award and the ACSA Region 16's Technology Administrator of the Year Award.
