Claudia E. Perez has dedicated thirty years to the Los Angeles Unified School District, serving in various pivotal roles. Her extensive career spans positions such as Elementary Classroom Teacher, Instructional Coach in Elementary Literacy and Mathematics, Certified Teaching and Learning Observer (TLO), Beginning Teacher Growth and Development Induction Mentor (BTGDI), Teaching and Learner Observer, Magnet Coordinator, Instructional Technology Facilitator (ITF), and her most recent role as an Assistant Principal.
Her diverse experiences have endowed her with a profound understanding of comprehensive instructional programs and the capacity to support both adult and student learning, effectively. Claudia's educational journey includes a Master’s Degree in Second Language Acquisition and another in Policy and Administrative Studies. She also possesses a Reading Specialist Credential and specialized training in Applied Behavioral Analysis to support the Special Education population.
As an Instructional Technology Facilitator, Claudia has excelled in integrating technology across disciplines, designing personalized teaching experiences, and fostering collaborative technological applications in the classroom and with school leadership. Her leadership extends to her current role as Assistant Principal of Hale Charter Academy, where she continues to contribute to educational excellence and innovation.
