Review the key understandings of building Coherence and its alignment to PDSA cycles. Consider the intent/purpose of a PDSA cycle and plan for actions that need to be taken at each stage (Plan, Do, Study, Act). Study Tier 1 and Tier 2 PDSA models to consider ways to schedule cycles across the year.
Rocketing student success through Plan-Do-Study-Act Cycles for principals involves a systematic approach to enhancing educational outcomes. The school instructional leaders lead this process by identifying the Problem of Practice (PoP), developing a clear plan including targeted instruction, implementing plans, studying the assessment and progress monitoring results, and acting on what they have learned to improve continuously. By utilizing productive instructional groups and standard-based learning assignments, we aim to create a conducive academic climate for scholars to be ready for the world.
As students with disabilities spend more of their school day with peers in general education classes, general education and special education teachers need to be collaborative partners in delivering instruction. This session will support principals in how to better facilitate teacher partnerships for the co-planning and co-teaching.
