Review the key understandings of building Coherence and its alignment to PDSA cycles. Consider the intent/purpose of a PDSA cycle and plan for actions that need to be taken at each stage (Plan, Do, Study, Act). Study Tier 1 and Tier 2 PDSA models to consider ways to schedule cycles across the year.

The use of school-wide data chats offers a unique opportunity for students to take ownership of their learning and academic success. When teachers are provided the tools to conduct the chats with uniformity, data-driven conversations can be conducted between student and teacher and student and peers with fidelity, meaning, and insight.
The Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) Cycle is an effective method for monitoring student progress toward mastering mathematics standards. In this session, we will focus on grade 11 students and share concrete strategies that can be implemented to monitor student learning. The fundamental question guiding this work is simple yet crucial: Are the students learning, and what actions do we take if they are not? This session will provide principals with a clear vision to support math teachers in their journey to help all students succeed in mathematics.
