Free online writing and storytelling learning units + in-school companion workshops for teachers and students. Young Storytellers has helped young people write stories inspired by their interests and identities across Los Angeles and beyond for more than 25 years. YS’ acclaimed writing and storytelling lessons—aligned with Common Core Standards and CASEL SEL core competencies—are now available AT NO COST as turnkey, multimedia lessons on The Achievery online learning platform created by AT&T. We also offer live workshops to serve as a companion for our online curriculum. We offer two types of 1–1.5 hour workshops for: teachers, 3rd-12th grade: how to use our digital materials in their classrooms middle- and high-school students: personal narrative writing workshops Workshops can be tailored by request for Principals who sign up at the vendor fair.
