Ready to move beyond traditional whole-group math instruction? In this interactive session, school leaders will explore how small group instruction can become a powerful driver of student-centered learning. Through the analysis of real classroom artifacts and guided reflection using Region West and LAUSD Look-Fors, leaders will walk away with practical tools to recognize, support, and elevate high-quality math instruction. The session supports Strategic Plan Pillars 1: Academic Excellence and 2: Joy and Wellness in Learning and Work, and aligns with SLF Standard 3: Instruction and TLF Standards 1 & 3 by focusing on instructional leadership, meaningful student engagement, and tasks that promote reasoning, discourse, and equity.
