Leaders will have an opportunity to explore components of a comprehensive counseling program that can be leveraged to increase student academic achievement, such as graduation and A-G completion. We will discuss the counselor's role within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) (SCF 2.6), which includes using data to establish student outcome goals, implement interventions, and monitor the results. (SCF 1.1, 1.2)This session aligns with LAUSD’s Strategic Plan Pillar 1- Academic Excellence: College and Career Readiness and PSLF 2B1: Monitors and supports schools’ implementation of a vision of high expectations
