This session explores strategies to promote outstanding student attendance through mentorship, community-building, and family engagement. Rooted in the LAUSD Strategic Plan pillar of Joy and Wellness, we will focus on creating safe, welcoming environments that support all students' social, emotional, and academic growth. Participants will learn how to implement tiered interventions, build capacity with families, and use incentive programs to improve attendance. We’ll also explore cross-team collaboration and partnerships to ensure consistent, schoolwide support for re-engagement and daily presence.
