In efforts to connect to LAUSD Strategic Plan pillar(s); Academic Excellence, Joy and Wellness, and Engagement and Collaboration, educators will learn practical strategies to integrate these skills into science instruction, enhancing student engagement, comprehension, and critical thinking. The session will also highlight how Science and Engineering Practices align with ELA claims and targets, supporting students in constructing explanations, engaging in argument from evidence, and communicating scientific ideas effectively.
