This session will equip principals with high-quality Ethnic Studies instructional resources aligned with LAUSD’s Strategic Plan. Connecting to Pillar 1 (Academic Excellence) and Pillar 3 (Engagement and Collaboration), participants will explore strategies to support culturally responsive teaching. The session will emphasize TLF elements, including content-related pedagogy (1a2), student knowledge and language proficiency (1b1), academic climate (2a3), academic language (3a4), and discussion techniques (3b2), —ensuring effective, inclusive, and engaging Ethnic Studies instruction that meets the diverse needs of LAUSD students.
