LAUSD Principals' Leadership Institute 2025

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore how to analyze English Learners' language strengths and needs across the four language domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Using student data, attendees will complete a Language Domain Analysis graphic organizer to identify specific areas for support. By the end of the session, participants will walk away with a completed organizer and clear, actionable next steps for instruction tailored to their students’ language development needs. This hands-on session equips educators with practical tools to plan targeted, effective instruction across a comprehensive ELD program that accelerates language growth.
