Session offering strategies and tools to inform instructional practice through Social Emotional Learning (SEL) indicators from the School Experience Survey. Presentation of illustrative school-level reports identifying the relationship of student self-reported SEL competencies to chronic absenteeism and assessment outcomes (e.g., SBA). Principals will learn to identify the items positively related to attendance and academic achievement for each SEL competency and access tools to guide instruction.
