Chronic absenteeism rates continue to exceed pre pandemic rates. The effective use of school attendance teams is necessary to support the monitoring and data driven interventions to improve attendance success. This session will support school administrators with building, utilizing and maintaining an effective attendance team to develop targeted and impactful long term solutions to reduce chronic absenteeism. Taking a targeted approach ensures that our efforts are not just reactive but proactive, addressing the diverse needs of students to promote consistent attendance that support learning.
