Review the key understandings of building Coherence and its alignment to PDSA cycles. Consider the intent/purpose of a PDSA cycle and plan for actions that need to be taken at each stage (Plan, Do, Study, Act). Study Tier 1 and Tier 2 PDSA models to consider ways to schedule cycles across the year.
This session will overview the basic elements, policies and best practices for soliciting sponsorships and donations, and applying for private grants. It will help schools get clear on their "ask," how to identify community assets, and how to enter into agreements in accordance with District policy.
As educational leaders, we are charged with promoting a culture in which staff engage in professional learning that results in their continuous improvement and high performance. How do you design meaningful professional development and ensure engagement for adult learners? What types of assessment do you utilize to monitor the quality of your professional development?
In this session you will learn best practices in the planning, implementation, and assessment of professional development. Whether you are a novice or expert, you will gain strategies and tools that you can apply to your upcoming in-person or virtual professional development sessions.

Chronic absenteeism rates continue to exceed pre pandemic rates. The effective use of school attendance teams is necessary to support the monitoring and data driven interventions to improve attendance success. This session will support school administrators with building, utilizing and maintaining an effective attendance team to develop targeted and impactful long term solutions to reduce chronic absenteeism. Taking a targeted approach ensures that our efforts are not just reactive but proactive, addressing the diverse needs of students to promote consistent attendance that support learning.
